What inspires you to create?
It’s mostly after I’ve been reading classic comic strips like Krazy Kat, Pogo, Nancy or Bloom County that I feel the most drive to create something of my own. I love the deep and silly lore around those characters and the love and dedication their creators put into them.
What’s your creative process?
It starts with lots and lots of notebooks with half-formed comics and random scribblings. I keep at that until something materialises.
Tools of the trade:
I mostly use an iPad or a Microsoft Surface Pro, but I frequently work with traditional tools as well.
