Before Bantam House Comics, there was Excelsior Comics, the original imprint behind the mini comics of the late 1980s and early 1990s. This debut issue reimagines three original series for a new title: Realm of No Return, where three friends are stranded in a dying world with no way home; Mark Grey and the Lost Amazons, where a fighter pilot is pulled through a fissure in the sky into an unknown world; and Sunburn, where Jo Mercer’s prize trip on the first commercial space voyage turns into a nightmare after a catastrophic solar event. Also inside is the first appearance of the Lone Templar, as the last Grand Master Jacques De Molay gives his final blessing to one remaining Knight Templar while being executed by King Philip of France after Pope Clement’s betrayal.
