What inspires you to create?
When I was a very young child I discovered something amazing – when I drug my crayon across a sheet of paper a line appeared there. Furthermore, this line was MAGICAL. It could become anything I wanted it to be: a house, my parents, a tree, a dog, a monster, me, the sky, etc etc etc. I have never stopped drawing since.
What’s your creative process?
Idea (billions), sketch (millions), pencil it (thousands), ink it (hundreds), color it (tens), share it (ones), repeat (forever).
Tools of the trade:
Pilot Eno Color red, blue and pink lead in a variety of mechanical pencils because I hate to erase. Various black ink pens from Sharpies to Sakura Microns to Tombows and whatever else is on sale at the store. Bristol board to draw on. Clip Studio Paint and Paint dot Net + XP Pen tablet for coloring, lettering and pure digital stuff
