What inspires you to create?
Drawing comics was great for my mental/spiritual health at a time of great difficulty for me. I make comics for myself for fun, and hope others will share in the fun.
What’s your creative process?
I think of an idea for a story, outline it, very rough pencils, try to do most of the drawing with ink and paint. It’s 100% practical for me. If you see it, it’s on the board. Colors, letters, whatever. Warts and all it’s there in the original.
Tools of the trade:
I use a variety of papers, Faber-Castell artists Pitt brush pens and Ecoline liquid watercolors.
