What inspires you to create?
Everything! I do various kinds of art, not only comics but also painting, writing, collage, etc. The world around me, nature, enigmas, classic science fiction, relationships, you name it!
What’s your creative process?
For starters I often get an idea for a story. It percolates, and as for working out a plot, sometimes when I can’t sleep at night I work through the scenes in a story I’m writing and get up the next day ready to work on it.
Tools of the trade:
I do comics on poster boards I buy from the dollar store, use micron pens and sharpie markers, scan the pages into my computer and work in Photoshop, adding lettering and coloring, and I clean up the art, too.
