What inspires you to create?
— My dad and grandfather (who were larger than life story-tellers).
— A childhood love of drawing and creating characters.
— Getting to journey in my mind, through a world of fantasy, sci-fi, pulp fiction, and super heroes.
What’s your creative process?
— My favorite step is brainstorming, and creating new characters & fun ideas.
— I’m always scribbling down an idea in small notebooks. Inking is my next favorite part…because, the hard work is all done.
— I can just sit down, use some passion, and finally bring these ideas to life.
Tools of the trade:
— I ink using ink & brush.
— Adding some shading with ink-wash.
— Finally, I finish the shading and coloring in Photoshop.
