What inspires you to create?
Mostly other people. When I was working with the Art Explorer Post it was the kids. SPACE is a big source of inspiration. I love seeing all the creative energy that shows up there.
What’s your creative process?
Usually I start with an outline and then a script. Then I do rough layouts/ thumb nails. All of that is usually in my current sketch book so I don’t lose it. Sometimes a spontaneous sketch will spark an idea and the drawings might come before the words. If I’m stuck for an idea I’ll pull up some randomly generated words to get started.
